Hello everybody.
Bob, i have to say that yes there are some standards to make an Horreo.
Upon the time, each zone of Asturias has develloped their own types but the changes are almost in the exterior pattterns, carvings and artwork.
There is a book, "el hombre y la madera" by Ignacio Abella, A basque Carpenter living and working in Asturian woods, that explain all crafts in wood in the old asturian villages, and also blueprints and explanations to make a fine HORREO
