I received the same reply from a Filipino doctor a few years back. When I told him that my family was from Asturias, he stated' "Ah, the land of Kings". He always treated with respect and deference after that.

I agree with Ron. Gonzalez is a strong, good name. If others have a problem, let them have the problem. You don't need to own it.

My maternal grandparents, greatgrandparents, uncles and aunts are buried at Fairview Cemetary also. It's a very peaceful place.

Sorry, I do not have any information about your grandparents, but I went to high school in Aliquippa, PA with a Rangel boy. I am sorry that I do not remember his name. I'm thinking that since you are from Ellwood City, you might be related.
