The 2 most likely churches in Tampa would be Sacred Heart Church or Our lady of Perpetual Help Church. I don't know if they always had those names. DeMeza is a name I've heard here in Tampa. Have you tried looking for other variations of the name?

Do you have any other information about them? Do you know their names or birthdates? Funny that you should say that about Oviedo, Florida- because when I have used the Spanish pronunciation- no one knows where I am talking about or they "correct" me and say oh you mean "Oh-vee-do"!

There is an excellent book called: Tampa Cigar Workers- by Robert P. Ingalls and Louis A. Perez, Jr; (I'm sorry I could not figure out how to underline the title of the book) that tells the history of the Cuban, Spanish and Italian immigrants that created the cigar industry in Tampa.
