My deceased mother-in-law a native Asturian always stuffed her turkey with browned ground beef mixed with chorizos, chopped onion, garlic , green pepper and green olives stuffed with pimento,red wine and bread crumbs. I use FTM #7 I am satisfied. I have not entered any of my husbands relatives that live in Spain,only those that emigrated, so I don't know how the names will be handled. Let you know when I do. Jane

I have not seen or used this program, www.gdsystem.net claims to be a system used by spanish speaking families, using 3 naming conventions: A. Victor ,my husband, remembers that his father owned lots in West Virginia. He doesn't know the area,but it must have been in an area connected to Asturias. How else would someone new to the country,living in NJ even know about West Virginia? Jane

Not your fault. My father-in-law's spanish name was Peter Alvarez Hevia when he came to the US ,he changed it to Peter Hevia Alvarez. My mother-in-law was Aurelia Garcia Sanchez and changed to Aurelia Garcia. Since I am not spanish, this custom seemed odd. But thinking about it, you always know who ...

Both families dropped their mother's surname because in America you are known by your father's name. All of the relatives and friends that came over did the same. Jane

My father-in-law Peter Hevia Alvarez was the son of Benigno Alvarez and Isabel Hevia. I have not found any Hevia relatives either. I will try to find the piper music . Thanks Jane
