Funny Asturian dubbing

Post by Curuxa »

This is not official Disney dubbing but in Youtube you can find some excerpts from Disney´s movie "The Lion King" dubbed in Asturian: "El Rei Lleón" is the Asturian title.

A little present for children and all the family

Enjoy!

Curuxa,

My name is Lou Alvarez. I use the email address elcuruxo@....*

How did you come by the name Curuxa? I use curuxo because my Dad's family was from La Coruxa in Castrillon, Asturias, near Piedras Blancas.I would appreciate hearing from you.
Lou Alvarez

hi Lou, There's an easy explanation for his/her name. The word 'curuxa' in Asturian means 'owl'. Maybe the place name in Castrillon was taken from an inordinate abundance of owls there. I'll leave that up to our etymologist detectives...

Ha! I love the voices! (But the pop-up windows are irritating.)

¡Ja ja! ¡Me encanta los voces! (Pero los ventanas pop-up son molestos.)
