Como estudie en Cuba comunista donde los clasicos estaban prohibidos
y la literatura aprobada era solamente de caracter politico liberal ( todavia
es igual ) no soy muy apegada a la poesia, pero puedo contribuir con
esta cancion que es mi favorita de Charles Aznavour que la canta en
Youtube en Espanol y tambien en Frances.

My final version of the gravestone inscription (in addition to our names and dates) is

I love you even more than small rain loves the gentle earth.
We will dance forever in the small and sorrowful rain.
And we know that nothing lasts forever but love and death,
Not even the sky.

Grey granite, which I know is what Evelyn wanted (me too). Simple and dignified. Maybe an engraving of a cat and a polar bear (Evelyn's totem animal).
