My name is Jesus Fernandez and before I begin I must say that I am extremely happy to be apart of this forum. I mainly became interested in Asturias while embarking on an effort to discover my family roots and heritiage.

I was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico in 1976 to Manuel Antonio Fernandez Feliciano and Iraida Bracero Boscana. My father Manuel's family was from Aguas Blancas, Yauco, Puerto Rico and my mother Iraida's family was from Yauco, Puerto Rico as well.

My father was a Spaniard born in Puerto Rico. He died in 2005 and I miss him dearly. Thus, I want to honor his memory by learning more about his family and my Spanish heritage. His name was Manuel Antonio Fernandez Feliciano and he was son to the late Don Jesus Marcelino Antonio Fernandez Rosal who was born in Cabrunana, Oviedo, Asturias, Spain. I also believe my grandfather Don Jesus lived in Grado, Asturias, Spain. My paternal grandmother, Rosa Julia Feliciano De Fernandez was born in Puerto Rico to Spaniard parents from Aragon, Spain.

I am here to connect with other Asturianu and seek help in locating other family members in an effort to grow my family tree. Once again, its great to be here.

I think I may have found some family members in Grado Asturias. This may be a stupid question, but what is the Area Code over there in Asturias- I located their info en las paginas blancas but I didn't see the area code.

Con respecto a la numeración telefónica, solo necesitas el indicador de España (34) seguido de las nueve cifras del destinatario, si es en Asturias, todos empiezan 98x xxx xxx.
