Does anyone know what a coin man would be in a steel factory?

I asked Ron Gonzalez if this term was familiar to him, from his work in the zinc industry. He replied, "No, I never heard that in the zinc works. Do you what the 'Coin Man' did in the mill? That may give a hint as to what his job was."

"By the way, the term 'Tip Man' was used as a job title that two Asturian men had. Tip man had nothing to do with tips, but how that job got that name I'll never know. The only thing I can tell you it was a hot job, as was everything in the furnace. We did have other jobs with the pattern '____ man," but nothing like 'coin man,.' Let me know what you find out."

Thanks, Ron!
