picture submission

I just bought a new scanner and have copied some old picutres of my grandfather and great-grandfather. I would like to place them in the photo album. Ho do I go about submitting them?

Hi! Are they your photos?

The thing we always have to be careful of is copyright. If they are yours, we can show them. It's generally better, though, if they're on our server, so we know they won't disappear in the future.

Hay que tener cuidado con los derechos de reproducción. Si son tuyas, podemos ponerlos. Normalmente sea mejor si estan en nuestro servidor para que no desaparecen en el futuro.

There are two options. If you just want to show them in the forum, you can add this to a message:

I don't know the address for your pictures, but it might be something like:

[img]http://www.yahoo.com/~RodR/myPicture01.jpg[/img]

Or you can send them to me by email and I'll add them to the server and I'll give you the address to use. My email address is at the bottom of this and almost any page in the forum.

Hay dos opciones. Si sólo quieres mostrarles en el foro, puedes añadir esto a un mensaje:

No sé la dirección para sus cuadros, pero podría ser algo como:

[img]http://www.yahoo.com/~RodR/miFoto01.jpg[/img]

O puedes enviármelos por correo electrónico y los añadiré al servidor y te daré la dirección para usar. Mi dirección de correo electrónico está en el fondo de esto y casi cualquier página en el foro.
