Flu shots

Here in the US, we are experiencing a severe shortage of flu vaccine. Many physicians have been unable to obtain any at all, and the usual flu shot clinics have had to cancel or can innoculate only 80 or 90 people. Some people have actually arrived at midnight and stayed all night in an attempt to get the vaccine at a 10:00 am clinic.

How is the situation in Spain and other countries. Where do people go for their flu shots?

I find it unsettling that the American government has allowed a situation in which there only two flu vaccine suppliers for the entire country. When one shuts down, as is the case this year, there is a massive shortage. Flu related deaths in the US last year were about 36,000.
