Asturian conundrums..

These are two conundrums that my grandmother told me.
1. Redondina ye, preñadina tá, furaquín nun tien, ¿per onde parirá?

(Tentative translation: Roundy it is, pregnant it is, it has not hole, how will it give birth?). Sorry, once translated all the humour is lost.

2. Gordu lu tengu, más lo quisiera, que'ntre les piernes nun me cupiera.

(Tentative trnaslation: I had it fat. I wanted it even more fat, so that it does not fit between my legs). Same comments that above.

Both are quite easy....I am waiting your answers......

1. Una bombilla? Un bollu preñau? una manzana?
2. Un gochu?

Could the first one be a chicken in its egg shell? I'm not sure we'd say it was "pregnant."

Or maybe it's an insect's egg cluster on a twig. The praying mantis would be an example of an insect like that.

For the second one, I--like Terechu--was thinking of a pig, but....

I really like the way Asturian humor can be earthy.

Vaya.... Voy a hacer la tentativa.

¿Es posible que la primera sea un pollo en su cáscara de huevo? No creo que decimos "preñada" o "embarazado" en ese caso.

O puede ser sea un grupo de huevos de un insecto. La mantis religiosa sea un ejemplo de un insecto así.

En cuanto a la segunda, estaba pensando--como Terechu-- de un cerdo, pero....

Me encanta como el humor asturiano tiene una cualidad desenfadado y directo.

1)nun puede ser un guevu por que guevu ye masculin y se ta falando dalgu femenin.yo digo que ye la boroña(pero na zona onde soy llamamoslu boroñu al que ta preñau)

2) pues falando de guevos...... puede ser munchas coses.Lo del gochu ta bien creo que ye una bona idea pero nun se debe olvidrar que tien doble sintiu y que ye pa facernos pensar mal

1)It can't be egg becouse in Asturian the word egg is feminine and we need find a masculine word.In my oppinion the word we are looking for is boroña (but we call it boroñu when its pregnant)

2)then speaking of eggs...... can be a lot of things.The one of the pig it is a good idea but its not due to forget that has double sense and that it is for making think us badly

¿Para el segundo, puede ser una cartera o monedero o bolsa? Pues, nunca lo he tenido uno muy gordo, pero sería bien, ¿no?

En lo del primeru puede ser o un xatu(ratu):twisted: en animales y sigo afirmando lo de la boroña del primero
En la de bod puede ser un iceberg????

Nada.....todos fríos .
En la primera, nada de boroña......¿por dónde está preñadina la boroña? Ah, tampoco es una "bolla" (boroña "rellena"). Ni, como dice Art, es una bolsa (yo también, como él, querría una bien llena).

En la segunda, ni xato, ni gochu, ni gatu...
¿Necesitáis pistas?

Y en la de Bob, ya he decidido que debe ser un carámbano o el hecho (el milagro) de transformarse el agua en hielo (algo duro, como el hueso) ......

La solución de la adivinanza de Bob es una estalactita fijo.
