Ye too culpa nuestra!

Thanks for the article, Llimiagu (how long it's been since I last heard that word! ). I didn't know that the Colegio San Vicente fined the kids for every word they said in Asturian.
For the time being Cajastur's automatic teller machines do not yet make us go through the humiliation of having to choose our operating language from among Castillian, Basque, Catalan and Galician, but not Asturian; just like the Eroski Supermarket chain, with whom I'm fighting my own private micro-war because they have the nerve to sell their products in Asturias labeled in Basque, Galician and Catalan, but not in Asturian.
It's all our fault, though!

----------------------------------------------------
...and here I am slandering Eroski! It's incredible! How can it be that we are the only historic community whose language has not been recognized? Why the slavish obedience of the Asturian government to Madrid? Who would have thought that the once so combative Tini Areces would give up on this matter?
Right, I apologise to Eroski and want you all to know that they are the only ones who have guaranteed Greenpeace, in writing, that their own namebrand products (Consum, I think) are not genetically modified.
