Hi I'm new and I was just wondering if there's anywhere a Englis hto Asturian dictionary is purchasable.
And also if anyone knows what "denomar" means in Asturian ^^
Thanks

Hi,
"Denomar" is an Asturian verb, composed of the Latin particle "de" plus another verb, "nomar", that means "to call in any way someone or something, to impose a name". The "de" particle is only a reinforcement, as in the Spanish couple MOSTRAR/DEMOSTRAR. "Denomar" and "nomar" are synonymous and equally valid in Asturian, both based and derivated from the substantive NOME = NAME.
How about to create here an Asturian-English/English-Asturian dictionnary?
Cheers
