Un año en la regata Gijón-Lorient, en pleno temporal, se acerca un paisano en una lancha de remo a uno de los barcos participantes y les dice:
- ¿Queréis patates?
- Que coño vamos querer patates, paisano, quítese delante, haga el favor que está estorbando.
El paisano se aleja y los del barco siguen luchando contra el temporal. En esto se les rompe una vela y quedan poco menos que a la deriva. Entonces ven que se vuelve a acercar el de la barca.
-¿Queréis veles?”
- Hostia, claro que queremos veles. Qué veles tien?
- No hombre, que si queréis veles – les patates…

During the annual regatta Gijón-Lorient (France), right in the middle of a gale storm, a man in row boat approaches one of the participating sailboats and asks:
"Do you want potatoes?"
"Why the hell should we want potatoes, get out of here, old man, you're in the way!"
The man rows away and those in the sailboat go on struggling against the storm. Suddenly one of their sails gets torn and they're left more or less adrift. Suddenly they see the man in the row bow approaching them again.
"Do you want

"Hey, sure, man! What kinda sails you got?"
"I mean do you want to see them - the potatoes!"
