Is there any mountainbiker in the forum?

Post by pisapraos »

Hi ,everyone.
Although I live in Gijon I' ve got relatives in the U.S, in Ohio and Rochester N.Y.
I ride a mountainbike with my friends in our great mountains here in Asturias , but I would like to travel to Colorado in the future , to ride in those wonderfull places.

Thanks , and forgive my pretty rusty english

Like Bob said, your english is just fine. I love riding my bike as well although my bike is a racing type, I don't ride anywhere near as much as I used to but I still take it out for 20-30 mile rides when the weather gets warmer, I know some folks ride all winter... just not my thing.

I hear Colorado has some great mountain bike paths,

Enjoy yourself!

Thank you for the reply , and Bob,my nick is Pisapraos not Prisapraos.
Here in Asturias we call "pisapraos" the people like me that enjoy themselves in the weekends just treking, not profesional climbers.
Prisa means to be in a hurry and Pisa , to step over something...

Greetings. :D

Pisapraos,

Thanks for the correction, and my regrets for the typo. My fingers and brain aren't always fully connected.

Bob, I especially liked your "trial" of a new name for yourself: Bobn, kind of like bobbin'. (It's in your signature several posts up.) That'd be a cool nickname, wouldn't it?!

-----------------

¿No?
