Gijon video on YouTube

Here is a video that I've found on YouTube about Xixon. It seems to be a tourism video produced by the Xixon administration but I am unable to find the source. Can someone help?

At the end it says, Sociedad Mixta de Turismo, Ayuntamiento de Gijón, and then www.gijon.info. The video is well done. But, of course, that'd be an easy subject because Gijón is such a wonderful city.

So you are able to see the whole thing? Somehow my IE dies in the middle of the video. Damn Microsoft, if I could afford the new Apple laptop I'd buy it in a second. Thank you for the info.

You may want to download FireFox. It's very good and will run on your machine. I can also see it on the new beta for IE 7.0, which is pretty stable, but not the final version. (I don't have IE 6.0.)

The music is sooo unsuitable...it definetely sounds Irish to me. Too bad that more and more Asturians are so ashamed (or ignorant) of their own musical heritage and find it more appealing to borrow foreign folklore.

Irish music is very popular here, too. In fact, that's the kind of music I play most often, along with Appalachian Old-Time, in the groups I play with. I read recently that Americans and Irish living in America contributed strongly to the resurgence of the Irish musical tradition.

I enjoy Asturian music, but I've not found anyone else interested in it near here.

La música irlandesa es muy popular aquí, también. De hecho, ésa es la clase de música que normalmente toco, junto con "Old-Time" música apalache (Appalachian), en los grupos en que interpreto. Leí recientemente que americanos y irlandeses viviendo en los EE.UU. contribuyeron considerablemente al resurgimiento de la tradición musical irlandesa.

Me encanta la música asturiana, pero no he encontrado a cualquier persona interesado cerca de aquí.
