I believe you spoke to my Grandfather, Harold.

My grandmother is Josefina (Josephine) Menendez - Wilson. She is the daughter of Sabino Menendez and Mary Guiterez. She has several brothers and sisters...some I remember, some I never met. I can probably get names and birthdates or dates of their death. I know MOST of their children/Grandchildren. I would like to do a familly tree..but WOW...we have a HUGE family! Lots of cousins, 1st, 2nd, etc... We used to have a yearly reunion in Tallmadge ohio at my Grandparents, but with the passing of so many of the cousins, it went by the wayside. I would love to get everyone together again. Most of the family is in Ohio and West Virginia. I have contact with quite of few of them still, and email contact with others. Would you be interested in attending if I could get something together for maybe the end of Summer, or early fall?

Hi Beth! I think a reunion is a great idea. I would love to do/see a "complete" pedigree of all the descendants. I have something I have been working on but it is not complete. Since I have no contact with everyone I only have what I can find with my dectective work on the net. If there was a gathering we could fill in all the blanks! We could all bring photos and papers and scan, scan, scan! I would love to meet all my cousins! My mother's (Joan Menendez) heath is very poor and I don't think she can travel but I would love to get her there!

Just an update for everyone...Louie Menedez, the last of the 11 Menendez siblings passed away yesterday. Arrangements have not been made yet.

Thanks for the news, Beth. I'm so sorry to hear of Louie's death. It'd be great if you or someone would write a story about his life and post it here.
