Yes, they are so popular, they have too many names! In Galicia they are called Fiyoas, but it's the same thing. José Andrés is Asturian, but if he wants to make international Spanish cuisine, he has to avoid localisms. Too bad, really.

En mi pueblo (Muñalén) les llaman Frixuelos o Freixuelos y si les echan sangre, Figüelas.
