I found this site thru a search and what a delight!

My father was Joseph "Pin" Gonzalez and my mother Lillian. My grandfather was Jess Posada and his wife was Delores. They lived in Langloth, Pa. and had 11 children and took two more children in to raise. Now we are all spread far and wide. I see that my cousin Bobv has already found this site. I will post some pictures that I have in the future.

I currently live in California , Pa with my son Raymond Posada Gonzalez. He is 18 years old.

I have one brother Joseph Kim Gonzalez and he lives in Avella, Pa with his wife Liza and three children.

I look forward to reading and participating on this site.

To judge by your grandfather's surname, Posada, he must have been from eastern Asturias (Llanes or one of the neighbouring counties). It's also one of my last names, rather of my ancestors.

Your uncle Frank was my uncle as well, yes Bob is my cousin. I was at the Posada reunion two years ago ,your uncle Buzz and Bob stopped to see me on their way to Langeloth this year. Buzz wanted to see the house in Spelter were he was born. I also know your aunts and uncles, as well as your father.

I remember you father. Pin, very well. Back in about 1955 he was scoutmaster or Explorer leader for Boy Scout Troop 56 in Langeloth and I was one of the scouts in his unit. At that time your family lived on Mary Street just a few doors from my home.

I have some fond memories of those years.

As I recall your mom and dad had young children at home at that time. Perhaps one of them was you!
