Looking for a recipe for repollo. Probably a version with garbanzos, beef, chorizo, cabbage, etc..

I just posted my grandmother's recipe for kale soup on this website at http://www.asturianus.org/forum/viewtop ... =7876#7876. You could make it with head cabbage, if you prefer. It makes a hearty and warming meal on a cold day. I serve it with crusty bread and unsalted butter.
In any event, don't be afraid to experiement with the recipe. My grandmother never measured, and I measure only when baking. If you start with good ingredients, it's hard to go wrong.
Repollo and col both mean cabbage in castellano, and kale is a member of the cabbage family, although it is called berza. In asturianu, repollu is cabbage and berza is kale, but I have read that the word is sometimes used for cabbage as well.
