aú – where – adónde

aú: pronounced ah-OO. In some counties shortened colloquially to the form ú (pronounced as in French ‘où’). Interchangeable with ónde, pronounced OHN-day or aúnde, pronounced ah-OON-day. Alverbiu (adverb). Where, in or at what place, part or point. What location or position.
Usage examples:
Aú tas? (Where are you?)
Aú ta la mio fía? (Where is my daughter)
Aú ties el ganao? (Where are your cows?)
Aú foi el tou pai? (Where did your Dad go?)
D’aú vien esi rapaz? (Where is that guy coming from?)
Ú tabes de la que xubía pel camín? (Where were you as I walked up the road?)
