The prehistoric cave of El Sidrón near Infiesto (county Piloña), one of the most important and uncontaminated archaelogical sites in the world, continues to yield spectacular findings. The complete upper jaw of a young male found a few weeks ago, will allow the reconstruction of his facial features. In addition, DNA testing has proven that these Neandertals had the gene that facilitates speech.
I believe a lot of theories will have to be rewritten. The shape of my forehead tells me that my lineage may be a bit Neandertal after all!
