Joseph Jesus CALDEVILLA, born 1890, Oviedo; died 1967 in Philadelphia; image attached

Immigrated to Havana, Cuba

Immigrated to the United States, Philadelphia in 1913

Married Ellen Driscoll Connelly in 1918 in Philadelphia

Joseph and Ellen CALDEVILLA are parents of:
Mary J. CALDEVILLA METZ (1919-2004)
Elizabeth CALDEVILLA MAINE (1920-1995)
Joseph CALDEVILLA (1923-1977)

His being born in "Oviedo" probably means that he was born in the province of Oviedo, which is now called the Principality of Asturias. You can read more about this here:

Yes, finally got the town. On his WW II Draft Registration Card he wrote "Arriondas".

Anyone have CALDEVILLAS fro Arriondas?

Cafi, searching in the phone book there are 12 people called Caldevilla that live nowadays in Arriondas (or Les Arriondes in Asturian), a pretty village of county Parres, eastern Asturies. Are you interested in take contact with?
