The 1906 Aragonese Nobel prize winner, Santiago Ramón y Cajal, also delved into creative writing. Five of his stories are available in English in a book entitled "Vacation Stories," translated by Laura Otis of Emory University. She's a neurobiologist turned English professor. I'm not an expert on the quality of translation, but I think she has captured the spirit and tone of the original castellano quite nicely. In any event, it is enjoyable.
