hola a todos ~ quiero enviar algunos artículos de NYC a asturias { como: libros, herramientas manuales, ropa, utensilios de cocina, un bici y un remolque ... nada grande, no muebles etc }. no hay prisa; no tiene que ser a través del aire. ¿sabríais una mediad simple y barato? tenéis alguno consejo? muches gracies, peter

buena pregunta, se me ocurren sólo compañias de transporte urgente o de mudanzas internacionales, qué tal un contenedor Maersk para enviar por barco.

It sounds like you're doing a good job of paring down. That's got to be painful.

What if you traveled to Spain via boat? Maybe you could take a crate with you that way? You could even work on a ship on the way over, perhaps. Or maybe I'm thinking 18th century thoughts.

Niemandsland--Go to the post office and ask for M bags. They used to be only good for shipping books abroad in a kind of bulk rate, but now you can pack whatever you want into them. All you need are sturdy boxes (duct-tape the corners and seams). Then take it to the post office and they put it into a canvas-type M-bag. It took my M-bags less than 2 weeks to get to Paris from DC and the cost was about $140 for 3.

Yes it does. The M-bags aren't meant to pack an espresso-maker, but books, clothes and odds and ends. One of the M-bag boxes I sent was a HP printer and a bedcover, which cost less than $50 to ship.

For real bulk, you'd have to go UPS or FedEx. In that case, get ready to pay $350 for exporting a bicycle, for example. You'll also need an appraisal from a bike shop as to how much it's worth.

hola art, en realidad, no, no es doloroso. casi es lo contrario. "small is beautiful", dijo schumacher. puedes sustituir "pequeño" con "poco", creo. pero, sí, el principio de mi transición va a estar *interesante*, por no decir más.

la ultima vez hablaba con la aerolínea me decían que costará alrededor cien dolares por una bici { tengo que quitar los pedal y hacer girar el manillar. se puede chequear hasta 50 lbs. entonce voy a tratar a incluir el remolque que acabo de encargar desde canada . necesitaré la bici de todas maneras cuando aterrizar en asturias en abril}.
