Hello

I posted a message in the geneology section but I wanted to introduce myself as well.

My name is Carlos Granda and I am orginally from Tampa, Florida. Grew up in Ybor City.
My parents both worked in cigar factories and I miss the devil crabs from El Tropicana restaurant.

I'm here to learn more about my family from Asturias and maybe I can help others with a little history of Tampa.

I now live in Los Angeles, CA and I certainly would love to hear from El Tampeno. He and I might know a lot of the same people!

It's excellent that you've posted (in the other thread) in both English and Spanish, because many of our members can only read one language.

I'll bet that El Tampeño knows you, too! Tony seems to be very well connected in Tampa.
