My gg grandfathers Name was Felix Lopez Miranda, born in 1864? Palacio de Salas is his/our Ancestral home. He and his younger sister Lucia Lopez Miranda, (before marriage), and siblings were orphaned at a very young age. Felix was sent to New York, by way of Cuba, to be educated so he could run the US side of the family business, F. Miranda & Co. They had a tobacco plantation in Havana, Cuba. The company was well established and one of the original establishment from Spain to Cuba. We know that the family was of nobel descent. To what degree we are unsure. can anyone shed some light on this? Does any one have any information on the family line from Palacio de Salas or they're company, F. Miranda & co? Can you tell me the meaning of the Family coat of arms? It is located on the home in Santianes, Palacio de Salas. Gracias!
