Fernandez family of Clarksburg WV

I'm wondering if it is possible the Fernandez family in the magazine
story are relatives. My paternal grandmother Adelina Fernandez Valdes
Montes came to Clarksburg WV first in 1910. She returned to Spain
with children, then came back to Clarksburg in 1914. They moved from
Clarksburg about 1916 to Moundsville, WV. I believe her father's name
was Manuel Valdes and her mother was Josefa Fernandez.
