Both were from Mexico...I believe my grandfather met my grandmother in Donora PA. Martin Rangel was born in 1899 and Rosario Ramirez Rangel was born in 1912. They settled in Langeloth for a short time. Two of their children both died at a very young and were buried somewhere around Langeloth. I think they died from pneumonia. Any info on my grandparents and their two children we'll be helpful. Thanks so much.

Sorry, I do not have any information about your grandparents, but I went to high school in Aliquippa, PA with a Rangel boy. I am sorry that I do not remember his name. I'm thinking that since you are from Ellwood City, you might be related.

I am not sure if there is a library in Langeloth, maybe one in Burgettstown. I graduated from high school in 1966...many years ago. My ex is from West Aliquippa. I think I remember a Rangel boy losing a couple of toes while mowing the lawn. I don't remember Ramirez. Back then there was two Spanish families in Aliquippa...Gonzalez and Rangel.

it's okay, thanks for your response. i actually found SOME info about my family. i was able to find the cemetery where my uncles (one who died at 6 mos, and the other at 3yrs of age) were buried. it's in the fairview cemetery in burgettstown. the good people from fairview and martin lee funeral helped find the records for me.

My maternal grandparents, greatgrandparents, uncles and aunts are buried at Fairview Cemetary also. It's a very peaceful place.
