Familias de Antonio Álvarez y Aquilina Sánchez
Looking for information about my grandparents. My grandfather, Antonio Álvarez, was born in 1902 in Asturias. He married Aquilina Sánchez and they had one daughter, Blanca in Spain before leaving for Cuba. They had 4 other children in Cuba; Inocencia, Jose, Guillermo, Fidel. My mother, Inocencia was born in 1931 in Cuba so I know they left Spain sometime between 1927 and 1930. I believe Blanca was born in Santander. Where can I go to get additional information on their families?

Welcome, CE,
So far you haven't told us enough information for us to help you find what you're looking for. You'll need to figure out which area of Asturias they were from and you'll need more complete names.

Do you have your mom's birth or baptism certificate? If so, it would give your grandparents and great grandparents full name and where in Asturias they are from.
If you believe Blanca was born in Santander and have hr date of birth, you could request her birth certificate from the Registro Civil there and see if they find it. Her birth certificate would have information about your grandparents and great grandparents.

YrVazquéz is asking you what your grandfather's (and grandmother's I suppose) second surname was.
In Spain, each person typically has two last names or surnames. A baby usually receives the first last name of their father and the first last name of their mother.

YrVazquéz te está pidiendo sobre el apellido segundo de tu abuelo (y abuela, supongo).
En España, cada persona suele tiene dos apellidos. Un bebe normalmente recibe el primer apellido de su padre y el primer apellido de su madre.
