Seeking information on the Zapico family

I've been tracing my family name for awhile and i always reach a dead end so i was wondering if anyone can help.
Here is how far i can go back.
My great grandfather, Joseph Zapico came to Harrison West Vriginia in early 1900's
His father was Tomas Zapico also came to America
Joseph was married to Purification Rodriguez, Tomas was married to Felisa Zapico.
Joseph had a brother named Braulis I know.
Im not that familiar with the area but i think they came from around Aviles.
In all my research i can never get past Tomas Zapico, i am basically looking for his parents or where he was from. I project Tomas to have been born in the 1850's.
Thanks for any information or help

I hope our WV experts can help you, maybe someone even knew your family. IT is likely they came from the Avilés area, but the surname Zapico is from the Nalón valley, and is very focalized in the county of San Martin del Rey Aurelio (county Langreo and Laviana as well).
Check out this website of the National Statistics Institute (INE)
http://www.ine.es/fapel/FAPEL.INICIO

type in surname, then select by residence or by birth and scroll down to see results.

My grandfather. when signing his name for naturalization, gave the
name, Adelino Montes Zapico.
As I have previously posted, he was from Asturias. I believe his mothers'
name was Joaquina Zapico. Adelino lived at Meadowbrook, WV. The
year was 1907 until about 1916. I haven't found anything about the
Zapico name so far.

Zapico, I've moved your question to the original thread. Please keep related items in the same topic so it's easier to follow the ideas.

Could it be "observer"? He worked at the zinc factory, so maybe Ron would know the job titles there.

Zapico, he movido tu pregunta al hilo original. Por favor, mantenga mensajes relacionados en el mismo tema porque así es más fácil seguir las ideas.

¿Podría ser "observer" (observador)? Trabajó en la fábrica de zinc, así que tal vez Ron sabría los nombres de trabajo allí.
