Hello Everyone!
My name is Marlene de Cardenas Stanley and I am very interested in finding information on my Ancestory. So far, I can go back to my Great, Great Grandfather's name, Jose Hidalgo Rodriguez from Asturias. I was told he was in the Spanish Army when he went to Cuba. There he married his wife Emilia Miranda Gonzalez from Guines. I have yet to find his birthdate, but am asking my relatives that still riside in Cuba. I am very glad I have found this website and look forward to learning more about the area and our people.
