Rivers and Streams of Asturias-National Treasures

As I look at the photos of the rivers and streams in Asturias on the internet, I see very clear and pristine water flowing down from the mountains. It looks like one could drink the water without fear of contamination or pollution. As a fly fisher for Trout, I could see myself standing there casting a fly on these streams or just sitting there admiring the beauty.
We have some waterways here in this country that have the same qualities; although, I suspect that with the changing laws concerning pollution, we will have far less of them in the future.
Having personally witnessed several fish kills in my youth due to paint discharge from a factory, it is an experience that I hope never to see again.
Water was one of the elements of creation which should be cherished and kept as a national treasure like those in Asturias.
