Hello.
My name is Devon and I am trying to find any information on my third great-grandparents. Here is the information I have for them;
Jose Maria Arias, born in August of 1877. His father's name is Jose and Josefa Maria Cordero.
Florentina Fernandez, born in May of 1887. Her father's name is Jose and her mother's name is Venancia.

Any information or tips on how to research this information is greatly appreciated! Unfortunately I do not have much information past my great grandparents since they are from Cuba and weren't able to bring family records/information when they immigrated to the United States.

Do you have names of towns or parishes for any of them? The surnames you listed are all quite common.

The first one might help you know what kinds of information would help us. In particular, it would be helpful to know your grandmother's two apelidos (which are the last names of her father and her mother).
The second one might be useful in finding a locality that has a higher concentration of Arias or Cordero, perhaps by searching in the White Pages.
