Hace mucho tiempo que busco una vía para conocer algo sobre mis ancestros en Asturias,pero me ha sido bastante difícil ya que sencillamente no sé que hacer.Los datos que tengo sobre ellos son bastante pocos;mi bisabuelo se llamaba Manuel Gelas Hermans y emigró de Asturias a Cuba a principios del Siglo pasado,hijo de Ricardo Gelas y Rita Hermans,padre de Ricardo Manuel Gelaz Capote.Como ven,es poco lo que tengo,creo que hasta hace pocos años Ricardo Manuel Gelas Capote aún vivía en New York.
Cualquier ayuda será valiosa,así como consejos de que hacer.

Hola Ricardo,

Gelas or Gelaz appear to be uncommon surnames. The Spanish white pages (http://blancas.paginasamarillas.es/) shows only two telephone listing for the first surname Gelaz in all of Asturias. Both are in Aviles. For Gelaz as a second surname, there are three listings, one in Gudin (Corvera de Asturias), one in Luanco and one in Aviles. You might want to start your search with those persons.

Parece que Gelas o Gelaz son apellidos pocos corrientes. Las páginas blancas españoles (http://blancas.paginasamarillas.es/) exponen sólo dos entradas teléfonicas para el apellido Gelaz [??] en todo Asturias. Ambos viven en Avilés. Para Gelaz [??] como apellido segundo, hay tres entradas, uno en Gudin (Corvera de Asturias), uno en Luanco, y uno en Avilés. Podrías empezar la búsqueda con estas personas.
