Below is a link to an article of today's La Nueva España with the results of a survey published by the Council of Education, according to which only 5,6% of young Asturians drop out of school before the age of 17. Asturias ranks third after the Basque Country and Navarra with the highest rate of 16-17 year olds continuing their studies.
The rate of High School graduates is 16% above the national average, and second only to the Basque Country.
We also have one of the lowest conflict rates, with only 3,6% of the students sanctioned for misconduct.

La Nueva España de hoy publica un resumen de un estudio de la Consejería de Educación, según el cual sólo el 5,6% de los asturianos abandonan sus estudios antes de los 17 años. Estamos sólo detrás de Euskadi y Navarra. El número de bachilleres está un 16% por encima de la media nacional y sólo por detrás de Euskadi. Tenemos, además, una de las tasas de conflictividad más bajas del país con un 3,6% de alumnos amonestados por problemas de conducta.
